Whale Watching Adventure

on Catamaran Kahanu

The Tour:

Up Close and Personal! Such an incredible, awesome beauty as you journey to the Port Allen area. The kohola - humpback whales are here from December to April. Viewing these magnificent creatures is an AWESOME memory! A unique sighting of the mother whale nurture her calve to swim towards the surface is incredible! Captain Lani and crew sharing Kauai’s culture and history. The nai’a - dolphins and porpoises cruising along the catamaran, have your camera ready for amazing pictures. You may see the honu – sea turtles swimming in it’s own environment.

What to Bring:

Wear comfortable clothing and protect yourself from the sun. Wear a long sleeve t-shirt and a hat or visor and comfortable footwear. You will be barefooted onboard. Bring an extra bag to place your footwear in the bag. If you need to wear footwear, bring your own aqua shoes, however, do not walk down with the aqua shoes, it will gather the red dirt. Red dirt and sea water make for red paste. Not good for Catamaran Kahanu.

The Snack:

Pretzels, sodas and canned juices are available for a snack.

With over 40 years on the water around Humpback Whales and other marine life, Captain is able to instinctively find and observe these beautiful animals.
